Gossip mills are working overtime when it comes to Abhi-Ash these days. Our wag is now claiming that Aishwarya Rai has.

Now clearly told Abhi to try to do more films where they both can star opposite each other so that they can spend more time together.

It was just that Aishwarya Rai did not have the required dates to be in the film Crooked and then in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se due to her over busy diary and hence a lot of young actresses got an opportunity to be with the young actor.

Guess it is time that Ash does allow a lot of these young actors to try and get a chance to be in the movies and act opposite her hubby. Or is it the case of Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai!

 

Forget Kareena Kapoor. If she made news for becoming the highest paid actress in bollywood for commanding a fee of Rs 7 crore, so what? Now, the focus has shifted from Kareena Kapoor to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The latest buzz doing the round is that the Bachchan bahu has been offered a fee of Rs 10 crore for one of her upcoming films.

Going by the industry pay scale, if this deal happens, Ash would be ahead of many male stars as far as the film fee is concerned. At Rs 10 crore, Ash has shown that she is one of the most sought after actresses in B-Town, leaving most of her competitors way behind.

Just two episodes after his debut TV show National Bingo Night, Abhishek Bachchan has taken a fancy to anchoring and says it is more enjoyable than acting.

Slamming reports that the show is "boring", he says he is looking forward to a second season. "If the rating is so high, it means something about the show is working. It can't just be my face.

If it was just my face then other artists who have been on shows earlier would have got the same rating," Abhishek said. "Anchoring is easier because in acting there are so many other things that come into play," he said.

How did you decide on editing a Hindi film? I was contacted by a friend of Ambika’s (Hinduja) in Los Angeles who asked if I would be interested in editing an Indian film. Well, I said yes of course! I love to get out of LA to experience films in other cultures.

In fact, after I finished Teen Patti, I liked the idea of shaking up my perspective. It helps me improve as an editor. And editing in a language so foreign to me forced me to edit more visually. I could not rely on the rhythm of the language as I can in English.

Though I did not see footage before I arrived in Mumbai, I read the script. It was for me compelling and moving. The script made me cry. That is usually a good sign though I cry at the drop of a hat. And once I saw the footage, I was not disappointed.

The actress was given out best wishes for her film ‘Ishqiya’ by the entire Bachchan family. This is quite an honour in itself as she has gained herself brownie points by being in everybody’s good books.

Bollywood’s most beautiful actress Aishwarya Rai, in a recent shooting scene, decided to drop her wet Holi scene in a bid to save water in a city that’s suffering from acute scarcity of drinking water.

The Holi wet scene was to be Aishwarya’s entry in Vipul Shah’s upcoming flick ‘Action Replay’ where there were supposed to be lots of colour and water.

But, then their inner conscience rose and they planned to drop the water-wasting scene. “It is true that we are not going ahead with the earlier planned water sequence.

In the Holi song as we would have used at least 70-80 tankers of water for the 3-day shoot. It is an elaborate song with 500 extras and 150 dancers.

I was very excited about it but then realised the magnitude of the water scarcity the city is facing. Aishwarya also opined that we should not go ahead with the plan.

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan got nostalgic while filming an ad with wife Aishwarya Rai at Filmistan Studios.

The same location where they gave their first shot together 11 years ago when they were mere acquaintances.

“It was here on the very same floor 11 years ago that we gave our first ever shot together. The movie was ‘Dhai Akshar Prem Ke’.

Great memories,” Abhishek posted on his Twitter page. “Then, I would have never dreamt that the next time.

Barely hours before Abhishek Bachchan’s game show Bingo was to go on air on Saturday, the channel Colors was in a panic. They were running around trying to put together the proposed inaugural episode featuring the host with his Pa Amitabh Bachchan.

According to channel sources it was touch-and-go, what with the senior Bachchan being busy with the promotion of his new film and the junior Bachchan trying to juggle dates for his movies with his television recordings.
