Jaya gets emotional at Drona's music launch

The music of the much awaited fantasy adventure film Drona was launched on Saturday night. The movie stars Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Kay Kay Menon and Jaya Bachchan. The launch saw an emotional Jaya Bachchan and Abhishek talking about his new friend Salman Khan. Drona is a dream that childhood friends Goldie Behl and Abhishek Bachchan said they saw as kids and now that dream is finally on the silver screen.
"We were sitting in a corner sulking that our fathers have thrown us off the sets and that was when we said that when we grow up we will make a film. We will have sword fighting in it and then we will get to throw people off the set,” says Abhishek talking about the dream. It was not just a big moment for Abhishek but also an emotional one for mother Jaya Bachchan.
Jaya got emotional about the movie at the launch. If I get tears in my eyes, please excuse me. These are tears of happiness," says Jaya.It was not just the Bachchans who were excited about the movie, but even Priyanka Chopra could not stop raving about her look in the movie.
"Goldie told me, “I am going to make you look the hottest ever”, when he signed me as Drona's bodyguard,” says Priyanka. When CNN-IBN asked Abhishek about his new found camaraderie with Salman Khan, he said, “Salman is a senior and has been very supportive and very sweet to me and he continues to be.”
