Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has angrily denied claims he sold TV rights to his son Abhishek's wedding to actress Aishwarya Rai for $1.2 million. It was reported the family had reached a deal with an Indian network to screen the ceremony - which took place last month - but Bachchan Snr. is furious, insisting he would never cash in on "a very private moment."He says, "No such rights were given. And even if we were offered such a deal, we'd have rejected it outright. The wedding was a very private moment for our family and close friends."According to a report, we had sold the filming rights for 50 million Rupees to a TV channel. We've received a letter from Rajiv Bakshi towhose channel we were reported to have sold the filming rights."He (Bakshi) categorically states that the report was completely false. Neither have we promised photographs to any particular publication. The truth is I haven't got any photographs yet. They're expected any time now."And if I'm called selfish for that, then yes I'm selfish. I'll protect and safeguard my family's interests."You can judge me, condemn me and nail me for my professional conduct. But you can't follow me with cameras into my home. The wedding was a private affair. And I maintain that."
