Abhishek Bachchan & Katrina Kaif act together in comedy film: Five years ago Abhishek and Katrina teamed up in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Sarkar’ and after that there was no seeing them on-screen anymore. The buzz has been that Salman has put an injunction on her working with Abhi on the other hand it was rumored Kat was not interested to work with him either. But now Abhi and Kat are coming back together to sizzle on-screen, not once but with three films.

Soon they will be seen in Karan Johar produced ‘Dostana 2’ directed by Tarun Mansukhani and now they will be pairing together for an upcoming yet untitled romantic comedy directed by Rajnkumar Santoshi. Next will be a film for Vipul Shah, who has worked like a mentor for Katrina, and she has given quite a few hits with him opposite Akshay Kumar.

Kat has previously worked with Santoshi in ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani’ starring with Ranbir Kapoor and received good response. On the other hand it will be Santoshi’s third outing with the comedy genre, his first comedy film in 1994 ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ became a cult movie and he now wants to tap the mischievous side of Abhishek on-camera.

Kaif on refuting the rumors of her not wanting to work with Bachchan junior said that after ‘Sarkar’ she decided to work with Abhishek only on a out-and-out romantic film. The lady is getting her wish fulfilled this year with not one but three romantic films with Abhishek. Apart from Santoshi’s film, she will be the love interest of not only Abhi in ‘Dostana 2’ but John Abraham too.
