Abhishek Bachchan replicating Aamir Khan? The two super successful Khans of the industry, Shahrukh and Aamir are well known for their astute trade skills and film marketing strategies. They have not only made big bucks but have also paved way for others to follow. And following the footsteps of the Khans is Big B’s son Abhishek Bachchan.
One of the close friend of Abhishek informed FilmiTadka that, “He takes on some of the biggest action films this year with ‘Game’, ‘Dum Maaro Dum’, ‘Players’ and ‘Dhoom 3’. He is a bit concerned about the films releasing in the same month of the year, though.
For his films Abhishek is merging up his strategies with his producers. His friend added in his statement that, “He sits with Ritesh Sidhwani, Producer of ‘Game’ and Rohan Sippy, Producer of ‘Dum Maaro Dum’, so that the films are promoted differently. He is also looking at the publicity material of these films and keeps track of what should or shouldn’t go out. He is spending time promoting both films and is also rehearsing for shows he had committed to. At the same time, he is dubbing for ‘Dum Maaro Dum’,” Currently Abhi is shooting for ‘Players’.
On the same time Abhishek revealed, “Things are a lot more organized now and I make sure dates are worked out in advance so that everything is planned well in advance.”
Junior Bachchan is planning out different strategies for both ‘Game’ and ‘Dum Maaro Dum’. The actor disclosed that, “Game and DMD are different movies. One is whodunit while the other is an action thriller. The only thing common between them is me. We have carefully thought out a structured marketing strategy for both films.”
