Amitabh Bachchan enraged fans of Rajnikanth on tweeter and apologized soon: It seems that the always politically correct Amitabh Bachchan has stepped on the wrong foot of some of Rajnikanth’s fans by tweeting a joke about him. As we all know these days Rajnikanth jokes are quite famous with no one is unaware of them, not even Amitabh Bachchan. However, when Big B tweeted the joke many Rajnikanth fans were miffed and wanted an apology.

Amitabh Bachchan and Rajnikanth are known to be friends from the days of Hum Dono and it is understood that Senior Bachchan meant no insult when he tweeted that when Graham Bell invented the telephone he got two missed calls from Rajnikanth. But as we can see that many people in South specially have not got the joke and are feels that their God has been insulted. Immediately after the tweet Amitabh started receiving many tweets from his fans stating that he should apologies. Many were quite angry and felt that their idol has been insulted. Taking charge of the situation Amitabh Bachchan replied to their messages and retweeted apologizing to them about hurting their feelings.

Senior Bachchan was quite humble and said that he did not mean to harm anyone’s sentiments.  He retweeted and said, “Not making fun of him, praising his status and his greatness, he is noble successful humble person, and revered like a God”.
