Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan's film biography illustrated with rare and exclusive film posters and publicity material of the actor's 150 films is set for release.'The Films and Memorabilia of Amitabh Bachchan' would be the first publication from the the publishing division of Osian's, an arts and entertainment conglomerate.

Co-authored by film critic Bhawana Somaaya and the Osian's Centre for Archiving, Research and Development (CARD), the book contains the cinematic journey of the superstar through posters stretching over 40 years from the days of the hand painted posters to the present day of digitally doctored photographic montages.

An exclusive exhibition of vintage film memorabilia including original film posters, lobby cards and photographs of the legend from the Osian's archive will also be on display at the official launch on Saturday in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, the Osian's Literary Agency inaugurated in 2007 is set to be merged with the publication and design division and would focus on illustrated books on art, cinema, architectural heritage, popular culture and philosophy.Tuli, Founder-Chairman, Osian's said, "It is our great joy that our first publication, Bachchanalia, is on the films an memorabilia of one of the greatest actor-star's of world cinema Amitabh Bachchan.
