Bewitching the crowd in a traditional attire Aishwarya Rai who had dropped in along with her hubby Abhishek Bachchan at the sixth day of the Cannes film festival was the limelight stealer of the day. Aishwarya was attired in traditional sari with a work ensemble of sparkling stones and touch of minimal jewelry which dazzled the viewers in bewilderment and awe, putting Deepika Padukone to a challenge.

Intially Deepika Padukone had made her first Cannes appearance in traditional Indian sari with exotic works of stones in a white print with golden border but Aishwarya appeared look more challenging with her mesmerizing look in stunning wear.
 
As Aishwarya was bound by the rules of her brand L'Oreal, she was most often seen in western outfits in Cannes film festival but since being a representative of India she wore her traditional look designed by renowned fashion designer Sabyasachi.
